Coach Rector
VARSITY HEAD COACH
Casey Rector was a 4-year member of the NCAA D1 University of Oregon women’s lacrosse program. While at Oregon, Casey was named to the MPSF All Conference-All Tournament Team and Most Inspirational 2005-2009. Casey is originally from San Diego and was named Captain and MVP of the LCC CIF Championship team in 2005. She was a 2x All-American, CIF Player of the Year, North County Times Player of the Year, SD Union Tribune Player of the Year all in 2005. After her 4 year playing career at Oregon, Casey was named an Assistant Coach for the Ducks 2010 Season. Casey also coaches for West Coast Starz Club Lacrosse as well as the WDNT San Diego team and the Under Armour All-American West team. Under her leadership at LCC, the Mavericks have won three consecutive CIF Championships. Casey was also named Avocado League Coach of the Year in 2012 and All-CIF Coach of the Year in 2013. She is looking forward to great things from our Mavs once again for the 2018 season.

Coach Wilcox
JUNIOR VARSITY COACH
Lyndsey Wilcox is a local alumnus of LCC, having graduated in 1999. She played four years of lacrosse as a Maverick, and then went on to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she continued her career as a Mustang. She works locally as an accountant. Somehow Lyndsey finds time to coach the Mustang Junior High Lacrosse Team as well as the Pacific Falcons Lacrosse Team. Lyndsey was named Coach of the Year at LCC in 2009. She helped lead the 2012, 2013, and 2014 teams to three consecutive CIF Championships and like Coach Casey is looking for great things from the 2018 team.

Coach Bianchi
VARSITY ASSISTANT COACH
Karen Bianchi is originally from Syracuse, New York. She attended West Genesee High school where she was a member of the 2007 nationally ranked lacrosse program. Karen had undefeated lacrosse seasons all throughout high school, including being a two-time Section and State champion in 2007 and 2008. She then went on to attend SUNY Brockport where she started for all 4 years as a midfielder. While at Brockport, Karen was named to the SUNY-AC All-Tournament Team and an All American in 2011. She was also named First Team All SUNY-AC in 2011 and 2012. Due to a recovering injury into her senior year and interviewing for a new head coach, Karen and her Grad assistant coached their team through their fall ball tournament in 2012. She then moved out to California a few years after graduating and is now a coach for the nationally ranked Pacific Falcons Lacrosse program in the off season. She also couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the well-known La Costa Canyon Lacrosse program and the 2018 season!
